PocketAlibi is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our AI image generation service. We've designed PocketAlibi with privacy in mind — we collect minimal data and don't store your images.
Information We Collect
Photos you upload: When you upload photos to generate an alibi image, these photos are processed temporarily in memory and are never stored on our servers. Once your image is generated and delivered to you, the uploaded photos are immediately discarded.
Alibi descriptions: The text you enter to describe your alibi scenario is used solely to generate your image and is not stored or logged.
Theme preference: Your light/dark mode preference is stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.
How We Use Your Information
Your uploaded photos and alibi description are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for image generation. This is the only purpose for which we use your data. We do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
Third-Party Services
Google Gemini AI: We use Google's Gemini AI API to generate composite images. When you submit photos and an alibi description, this data is sent to Google for processing. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts: We use Google Fonts to display typography on our website.
Data Retention
PocketAlibi operates on a stateless architecture. We do not maintain databases, user accounts, or any form of persistent storage. Your photos exist only in temporary memory during the generation process and are immediately discarded afterward.
Children's Privacy
PocketAlibi is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service.
